Funeral service for Jim (Woody) Wood, 70, will be Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Manley and Rev. Craye Hall officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Grange Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, October 20, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Wood died on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at his residence. He was born January 24, 1944, in Lawrence County to Joseph Vincent Wood and Dora McDougal Wood. He was formerly employed as a machinist for Atlas Cylinders. Mr. Wood was a Baptist in his faith and was a veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son: Benjamin Wood.
