Jim Sterling, 84, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday. He served in the Marines and worked as a correctional officer in Florida. Survivors include his daughter, Joanna Sterling (Tim Clutts); grandchildren, Kathleen Paul (Chip) and Stephanie Sterling; four grandchildren; and Moe, his dog and best friend. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Sterling.. A private service will be held at a later date.
