Jim Jakes, age 56, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Lima, OH, and of the Christian Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude B. and Gerry Englert Jakes.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. A memorial service will be conducted at Ethridge First Baptist Church at 6:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2015.
