A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Jim Bowers, 79, will be Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Forest Hill Cemetery with Grandson – Austin Bowers officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Bowers passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at his Florida residence. He was born July 22, 1944, in Jefferson County, to T. R. Bowers and Vonda Lee Pannell Bowers.
Mr. Bowers was a Veteran of the United States Navy, and was then employed for 30 years as a Digital Technician for AT&T, prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hartselle, AL .
Preceding him in death were his parents. a brother: Robert Bowers, and a sister: Alice Faye Harris.
