Jewell Nell Bailey, 79 of Fultondale, formerly of Houston passed away May 27, 2022 at North Hill Nursing Home.
Jewell was born December 5, 1942. She loved gardening, was a lifelong Christian, and child of God.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 5pm until 6pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, with services to follow. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 10am at Burdick’s Cemetery in Houston, Alabama. Brother Kenneth Sudduth will be officiating.
Jewell is survived by her daughter Pam Aviles; grandchildren Chad Lewis, Marc Lewis, Laura Pigg, and Brody Bailey; great-grandchildren John Lewis, Madison Lewis, Kate Lewis, and Zac Lewis; siblings Kathleen Smith and Betty Ledbetter; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son Royce Bailey; parents Ray and Laura Walker; and siblings Clyde Walker, Jimmy Walker, Tommy Walker, Linda Walker, and Ethel Walker.
