Jewell G. Morrison, age 90, of Florence, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013. Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Chris Kemp and Brother Dale Boren officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
She was a member of Florence Boulevard Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Morrison Sr.; parents, Charles and Bertie Wigton; and brother, C.W. Wigton.
Survivors are her children, Wanda Morrison, Jimmy Morrison (Gale) and Dianne Price (Bobby); sister, Margaret Furgerson; grandchildren, Brian Price (Michelle), Joel Morrison, Jenna Morrison, Callie Beth Price, Micah Benjamin Price, Sam Morrison, and Morgan Morrison; and a number of nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Mitchell-Hollingsworth 6th station staff, Southern Care Hospice and to Dr. Loren McCoy for their love and care.
