Jewell-Fannie-Gober-1443549242Jewell (Fannie) Gober was born January 22, 1928 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Euless Matthew and Cora Athalee Lipford Black.

Mrs. Gober was a homemaker. She was a member of the Little Chapel Pentecostal Church in Selmer, Tennessee. She was always happy and shared her joy and laughter with others. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her family.

Mrs. Gober departed this life on September 29, 2015 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 8 Months, 7 Days. She is survived by a brother, Dennie Black of Michie, TN; a sister, Opal Wilson of Milan, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gober was preceded in death by her first husband, Horace Owens; second husband, Dallas “Red” Gober; five sisters, Ader Massengill, Ruby Gammell, Lessie Battapaglia, Bessie Lee Brady, Mary Bryan; three brothers, Willard, Robert, and Jimmie Black.
