Jewell D. Wig, 97, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. Mrs. Wig was a lifetime member of DAR and a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include son, David Hix (Carol) of Brownsboro; grandchildren, Laura Leigh Stephens and husband, Jimmy, Angela Marie Ellis and husband, Mike, and Traci Anne Hammett and husband, Chase; and great-grandchildren, Anna Grace Stephens, Lauren Stephens, Davidson Ellis, Michael Ellis and Charlotte Hammett.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Rev. Coy Hallmark officiating.
