Funeral service for Jewell Ardella Hardin Johns, 101, will be Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Sinyard officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johns died on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Friday, June 16, 1922, in Cullman County to Jessie J. Moore and Ara Lee Giles Moore. She was a homemaker for her family, she loved to sew and crochet. She always enjoyed gardening and canning. She was a member of Beulah Church of Christ in Vinemont and loved her family and her slew of friends dearly.
Preceding her in death were two husbands: Warren Hardin and Joseph Pierce Johns, a son: Frankie Glenn Hardin , daughter-in-law: Mary Hardin, Brother: James Moore, sisters: Alene Fortenberry, Carolyn Williams and Eloise Brewer.
