Funeral service for Jetta Elkins Lowery, 90, will be Friday, May 10, 2013 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Hartselle, AL with Bro. Dewain Clemons officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Committal Service will be in Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be Friday, May 10, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the church.
Mrs. Lowery died on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at her residence. She was born October 4, 1922, in Colbert County to Melvin Hulet Elkins and Eula Earline (Ford) Elkins. Mrs. Lowery was the head cheerleader at Colbert County High School Class of 1942. She was a Beta Club Member and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband: Aaron Paul Lowery and her parents.
The family would like to express gratitude to the staff at Hospice of the Valley for the wonderful care provided for our mother and grandmother.
