Mrs. Jessie Pollock Marks of Nashville passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at The Health Center at Richland Place Wellness Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born on September 12, 1922 in Mt. Joy, Tennessee and was 92 years old.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Hillwood Presbyterian Church for 60 years in Nashville and dedicated more than 40 years of her life as a volunteer at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tn.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 6th, from 12:30 until 2:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
A Graveside service will follow visitation on Wednesday, May 6th at 2:00pm at the Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski, Tennessee.
Memorials are suggested to Hillwood Presbyterian Church, 6220 Hickory Valley Road, Nashville, Tennessee 37205.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Hughey A. Marks, Jr. and parents, Zade Bingham and Minnie Curry Pollock along with eight brothers and sisters.
She is survived by;
Son, Robert Steven Marks of Winchester, Tennessee
Grandson, Matthew Marks of Woodbridge, Virginia
Three great-grandchildren also survive.
