Mr. Jessie Lee Lewis, 72 of 1164 Ellen Avenue Rock Hill, SC passed Thursday, September 8, 2016 at his residence. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
He is survived by wife Linda C. Lewis of the home; sisters, Mary Marshal, Gloria Jean Pearson, Bemita Owens all of Decatur, Ala. Mattie L. Shackleford of Huntsville, Ala.; brother, John L. Lewis of Chattanooga, Tenn. Jessie was preceded in death by mother Mattie Lou Jolly, father Timothy Lewis, Jr., two sisters Mae Emma Lewis and Queen Pitts; two brothers Roosevelt Lewis and Willie T. Lewis; The mother of his children Mary Ann Lewis all of Ala. He is survived by his children, Deborah Aushberry and Gary Lewis of Jacksonville, Fl., Pamela Lewis and Keith Lewis of Rock Hill,SC, stepdaughters, Davina White of Rock Hill, SC and Latasha Cherry of Rock Hill; 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber after 34 years of service.
