Funeral services for Mr. Jessie L. Cannon, age 77, are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 18, 2015 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Burke officiating. Interment will follow in Palestine Cemetery. Mr. Cannon passed away early Tuesday in Jackson. He was born September 20, 1937 in Henderson County to the late Jesse Almond and Bonnie Lee Garner Cannon. He was a retired car salesman for Bobby Layman Chevrolet in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Cannon was preceded in death by one brother, Eddie Cannon. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Mrs. Dixie Cannon of Lexington; one son, Bryon Cannon of Jackson; one daughter, Stacy (Ronnie) Burke of Lexington; one sister, Jean Hutchins of Jackson; five grandchildren, Blake Burke, Matthew Cannon, Hailey (Tyler) Garner, Drew Cannon, and Kynlee Burke; and one great grandson, Jake Garner.
