Jessie Faye Franks, 77, died Thursday, May 10, 2018 at her daughter’s home. She was born November 21, 1940, to Jessie Cleve and Clara Mae Umfress Franks. She retired from Reed’s Manufacturing. She was a member of the Family Worship Center. She enjoyed sewing, her flowers and pets, and especially enjoyed being around her family.
Services will be at 10:00 a. m. Saturday, May 12, at the Family Worship Center in Mantachie with Howard Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Keyes Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Mantachie is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Keith of Mantachie; three sons, Danny Westmoreland of Dorsey, Thomas Westmoreland (Telena) of Dorsey, and Johnny Westmoreland (Joyce) of Nettleton; her mother, Clara U. Perry of Fulton; two brothers, Kenneth Perry (Pam), and Leonard Perry, both of Fulton; eight grandchildren, Brandi Moore (Robbie), Christie Lamb (Blake), Amber Megginson, J.J. Westmoreland (Katie), Kevin Westmoreland (Paige), Wade Westmoreland (Julie), Tony Yeager (Caitlyn), and a very special grandson, Casey Yeager; 19 great grandchildren; and a special caregiver, Macy Gardner.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Ellis Ray Franks; two sisters, Linda Duncan and Lola White; one grandson, Jamie Lynn Westmoreland; and her father.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 11, and will continue until service time on Saturday at Family Worship Center.
