Jessica “Jessie” Faye Crittenden, age 25, of Killen, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2012. Visitation will be Sunday from Noon until 2 p.m. at Elkins East Chapel. Services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel with Josh Miles officiating. Burial will be at Cox Cemetery with Brian Dodd, Jimmie Eaton, Kenny Smith, Harold Smith, Andy Willman, and Michael Indelicato serving as Pallbears.
Jessie was preceded by a maternal grandmother, Wanda Faye Stevenson Smith; a paternal grandfather; Gordon Crittenden; and cousin Julie Nicole Crittenden.
She is survived by her parents, Greg and Alesha Crittenden; sister, Amanda Crittenden; grandparents, Ann Crittenden, of Killen, Jim Smith, of Florence; uncles, Doyle Crittenden, of Florence, Greg Smith and wife, Amanda, of Alaska, and Jeff Smith of Florence; aunt Mary Ann Miles and husband, Josh, of Florence; her beloved pet “Roxie”; and cousins, Courtney Crittenden, Scout Miles, Noah Miles, Owen Miles, Tina Barnett, and Michael Schneider.
Jessie was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter and niece. Our very sweet Angel, you will be in our hearts forever. Jessie was a very kind person with a heart as big as the outdoors and loved by many.
