Mr. Jesse Oliver, age 75, of Centre, AL, passed at his residence on Friday, October 2, 2015, surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services will be 3: PM Sunday October 4th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Gunn officiating. The family will receive friends 12 PM until the hour of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department or the charity of your choice.
Honorary Pallbearers are Mr. Oliver’s grandsons.
Jesse was born November 26, 1939, in Gordon County, GA. He married the love of his live, Evelyn Dodd in 1959. After living in numerous places throughout Georgia and Florida, they settled in Paulding County, GA to raise their three children. Jesse loved making people smile. He always had a prank or two up his sleeve or a great story to tell whether at work or home. He was a jack-of-all-trades working hard his whole life in numerous fields before finally owning his own business as a heavy equipment welder. His hobbies included anything outdoors. He cherished spending time with his family and friends. He was a beloved Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather.
Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years; Evelyn, daughter: Pam (Steve) Prewett, sons; Randy and Kenny (Marie), grandchildren: Jason (Robin), Jody (Amber), Jerin, Shawn(Rebekah), Joncie, Katie (Justin), Becca, Anastacia (Glenn), Jessica (Robert), Ashley, Kendra; great grandchildren: Will, Maddie, Michaela, Jonathan, Abby, Jesse, Katelyn, Matthew Ensley, Reese, Raigen, Kane and Isla
