Jesse Dean Rafuse Stites, age 37 of Connecticut, formerly of Greenbrier, TN passed away, Saturday, September 7, 2024 in Hartford, CT. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 P.M. on Saturday, October 19, 2024 in the Chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier. The family will receive friends from 1pm until the hour of service. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery with Military Honors. His sisters, Rachel Wilson and Rebecca Clinard will serve as pallbearers.
Jesse was born in Springfield, TN on May 5th, 1987 to the late Lester and Ellen Ellis Stites. He is survived by his beloved ex-wife, Danielle DeCarli , sisters, Rachel (Steven) Wilson of Greenbrier and Rebecca (Chad) Clinard of Springfield. He was a proud uncle to Katherine Wilson Ferguson, Wesley Wilson, Alexandria Wilson, Nash Clinard, Noah Clinard and Ella Clinard.
Jesse was a 2006 graduate of Greenbrier High School and served his country in the US Navy for 13 years. He earned the following medals, citations and campaign ribbons, Navy Good Conduct Medal, National Defense service Medal, Navy Artic Service Ribbon, Navy/MC Achievement Medal, GWOT Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Navy “E” Ribbon, Flag Letter of Commendation, Navy Rifle Marksmanship Ribbon and Navy Pistol Marksmanship Ribbon.
