Jerry Wayne Covington Jerry “Wormy” Wayne Covington was born on February 18th 1951 in Haleyville, Alabama. His parents were C.D. and Lois Covington. He graduated from Winston County High in 1969.
He served as Chief of police in Double Springs before he moved with his family to Florida, where he founded Plastics U.S.A.
He moved back to Double Springs when he retired, and worked as deputy sheriff.
He is Predeceased by his parents C.D. and Lois Covington, and by his wife Charlotte Covington.
He is survived, by his daughters April Fideli and Amber Lewis; his 3 grandchildren: Savannah, Ethan, and Jaxon. Also by his brothers: Dale, and Eddie Covington.
