Jerry Wayne Taylor
Jerry was born March 26, 1942 and passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018. Jerry was a resident of Athens, AL at the time of passing.
Services will be Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Bert Wilson and Wayne Holt officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 9:00 until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elk River Cemetery.
He was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Sue Taylor; sons, Jarrod Taylor (Tabatha) and Joel Taylor; granddaughters, Rachel Daniel (Brady) and Erin Taylor; sisters, Anne Waldrum and Patsy Appleton; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father, John Samuel Taylor; mother, Anice Blakely Taylor; sisters, Mamie Louise Berzett, Evelyn Apple, Gladys Johnson and Eva Greene.
Pallbearers are Brady Daniel, Cody Daniel, John Waldrum, Vic Apple, Mike Apple, Greg Greene, Heath Clark, Ricky Berzett and Danny Johnson.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Birdie Thornton Center.
