Jerry Wayne Simpson, 63, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024, at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. Jerry graduated in 1979 from South Pontotoc High School. He loved Ole Miss, and enjoyed drag racing, fishing, and old western movies and novels.
Survivors include his mother, Elsie Lee Henderson; brother, Alvin Simpson (Lisa) of Pontotoc; sister, Jimmie Lee Stewart (Dennis) of Blue Springs; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, father, aunts, and uncles.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 5PM at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Visitation will begin at 4PM.
