F.2.3.24 Jerry Copeland.jpg Jerry Wayne Copeland, passed away on January 27 2024, in Lauderdale County, AL. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends during his final moments. Jerry’s warm personality and dedication to his family made him a well-respected member of the community.

Born on May 4, 1961, the son of Grady and Mary Copeland. Growing up in Tennessee, he developed a strong work ethic and a love for the countryside. He previously worked at Rudy’s Farm and currently Cypress Creek Chicken Farm.

Aside from his career, Jerry had a passion for the open road. He found great joy in riding motorcycles and four-wheelers, relishing the freedom they provided. These hobbies allowed him to connect with nature while experiencing the thrill of speed.

Jerry is survived by his children, Jerry Wayne Copeland Jr. and wife, Anna; and Jenny Gail Morgan and husband, Jason; brother, Larry Wayne Copeland and wife, Sherry; sisters, Wanda Copeland and Lisa Holt and husband, Keith; grandchildren, Gracy Westmoreland, Hannah Westmoreland, Alli Copeland, Harley Copeland, and Saban Copeland; nieces and nephews, Heather Fielder, Ashley Robbins, Grady Copeland, Bentley Robbins; as well as a special friend, Dana Mcfall.

In addition to his human family, Jerry held a special place in his heart for his furry companion, Ben Pup. Their bond brought immense joy to both Jerry’s life and Ben’s.

Visitation was held at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood TN on February 2nd from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and February 3rd from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Murphys Chapel Cemetery.
