Jerry Wayne Coan, age 86 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away March 30, 2025. He was retired owner of Basic Supply and a member of First Baptist Church of Haleyville.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, AL. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Nathan Carroll, Bro. Jeff Whitten officiating and John Turner speaking. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Coan is survived by his wife, JoAnn Coan; children, Shanda Coan Harlow (Bobby) and Brad Coan (Tina); sister in law, Gail Coan; grandchildren, Sara Coan Walker (Luke), Anna Caroline Coan-Bynon and Jonathan Brodie Coan; and great grandchild, Calum Barron Bynon.
He is preceded in death by parents, Fred and Nita Coan; son, Barron Wayne Coan; brothers, Milford (Inez) Coan and Harold Coan; and sister Mona Coan Pounders (Orvil).
