Jerry Titus Wyers, age 78, of Oakman, went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2018.
He was an Air Force Veteran that served in Vietnam. He worked in the coal mines for 27 years.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Patton Hill Baptist Church, he will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Patton Hill Cemetery. Bobby Connell will officiate.
Mr. Wyers was preceded in death by his Father-Clyde Wyers; Mother-Ione Bonner Wyers.
He is survived by his Wife of 59 years-Jenniec Wyers; Daughter-Wendy Wyers Tittle (Don); Son-Keith Wyers (Denise); Sister-Patricia Wyers Knight (Jimmy); 6 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren.
