Jerry Tim Cates, age 80 of Parrish, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Mark Lockhart will officiate. Burial will be at Gray Cemetery.
Mr. Cates was preceded in death by his Father-Hollis Cates; Mother-Pearl Cates; Brother-Travis(Bill) Cates; Sisters-Jeanette Garner and Mazell Lott.
He is survived by his Daughters-Pam Bush(Gene) and Jerri Thompson; Sons-Ty Wayne Cates, Troy Cates, and Todd Gregory(Marsha); SIster-Linda Cates; Grandchildren-Rebecca Furgerson(Darrick), Ronald Bush(Amanda), Sandra Barker(Aaron), Andrew Gregory, Jacob Gregory, and Staci McDonald(Josh); 7 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Todd Gregory, Andrew Gregory, Jake Gregory, Ty Wayne Cates, Justin Cates, Mike Lott, Billy Cates, and Bobby Cates.
