She continued to be a light for the staff at NHC Health Care – Columbia and her hospice team at Caris Health Care.

Jerry was born in Middlesboro, KY on July 16, 1933, to Flossie Belle (Bolton) and Henry Cliva Owens. She graduated from Middlesboro High school in 1952.

She dedicated her life to supporting her family and church. A devoted mother, wife to Bobby, daughter, sister, and aunt, she attended East Cumberland Avenue Baptist Church before moving to Columbia to live with her daughter. Known for her infectious laugh and smile, many remember her years at Earle’s Music Center where people enjoyed hearing the latest tunes and buying musical equipment. She was like a “mom” to many during her time there.

She is survived by her two children Pamela Kay Brogan, Columbia, TN and Clifford Michael Brogan, Birmingham, AL. Jerry is also survived by her sister Delores Faye Walker, London, KY along with a host of other family members and beloved friends who dearly loved her. She was lovingly known as “JaJe” to many of her great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Robert (Bobby) Davison; her parents and brothers: Paul Henry; Earl (Hal) Claiton; Eugene Harding; Robert Tillman (Bob); Cliva, Jr.; Jack; Dewey Mack and sister Brenda Joyce Marsee.

Pam and Michael are grateful for her hospice team at Caris Health Care along with the staff at NHC Health Care – Columbia. Their care and support during this time was priceless. Not to mention all the support of family and friends.

The memorial service for her will take place at Green Hills Funeral Home in Middlesboro, KY, on Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. She will be interred at The Green Hills Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Karen Greene Blondell, with music provided by her niece, Teresa Brown. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to East Cumberland Avenue Baptist Church in Middlesboro or a charity of your choosing.

Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
