 Jerry “Red” Watson passed away on December 4, 2020 at age 72. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Kevin Medlin and Brother Jimmy Gray, is 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church (522 Castle Heights Ave). The family will be receiving friends at the church on Sunday from 3 p.m. until the funeral. Graveside Services at Watson Cemetery will be private. Mr. Watson was born in Lebanon TN to Gertrude Lee and Charlie Watson. He was a salesman for Tucker’s Sausage, where he worked with his wife for 30 plus years, and a fan of Vanderbilt football. He was a member of Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as an active Deacon. Mr. Watson is survived by wife Peggy Tucker Watson, daughter Jessica (Aaron) Templeton, grandchildren Kailynn and Jake Templeton, brother Charles (Patricia) Watson, sisters Jean Kellow, Marie Clifton, Jenny McPeak, Jo Watson, and Teresa Sellars, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Gertrude and Charlie Watson, sister Sue Watson Withers, half-siblings Charlene Rogers, Mildred Harris, Charles “Buddy” Watson, Eula McCantless, and Ruby Stoops, and nephew Joey Dockins. The family extends special thanks to The Pavilion and the nursing staff on 300 Hall for their love and dedication to him. Memorial Donations: Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
