Jerry R. Newcomb passed from this life on November 6, 2024 with his faithful wife Ella Mae of 69 years by his side. He was born March 17, 1941 to James Newcomb and Onada Steen Newcomb Strickland. He is survived by his wife, Ella Mae Bingham Newcomb, sisters-in-laws, Carol and Liz Newcomb, and Debbie Dee and a host of special nieces and nephews.
He was a 50-year Mason and a member of the Shriners for over 50 years. He was a wonderful husband, brother, and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jim and Everett Newcomb, sisters Janeva Elam (David) and Lou Sagely (Curtis).
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of these arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in his memory to the Shriners or Pine Vale Children’s Home.
