Jerry Michael “Mike” Williams, 74, of Huntsville, passed away Monday evening, March 17, 2025, after his battle with lung cancer and COPD. He loved his family (both blood and chosen) and his friends fiercely. He was married to Kathy Bragg Williams for 24 wonderful years until she passed away from lung cancer in 2003. He was a kind, incredible, loving father to Brandi Mangrum (Roy) and Kim Neighbors (Keith). He is also survived by his brother, Tim Williams (Diann); sister, Betty Yant; brother-in-law, Ricky Bragg (Jo); grandchildren; nieces; nephews; as well as precious chosen family members. He was fortunate to find love again after he lost his wife with Teresa “Tookie” Stamper who he was with for 17 years until she passed away November 2023.

He enjoyed early mornings with his “Hardee boys” for years and loved playing Tonk with his buddies at the Eagles. Mike loved the Lord and knew this was not the end of his journey, but the beginning of the next chapter, which gave him peace.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2025, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home in Huntsville, Alabama. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Huntsville Eagles Arie 3263 located at 2500 Tenth Street, Huntsville AL 35805.
