Mr. Jerry Maness, age 78, passed away late Saturday evening, December 9, 2023 in Lexington. He was born April 5, 1945 in Lexington to the late John Riley and Neva Hays Maness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Lucille Webb Maness; two brothers; and four sisters. Survivors include his daughter, Priscilla Shannon (Steve); two sons, Chad Hodgin and Timmy Wells (Sue); seven grandchildren, Brittany Flanagan (Ty), Ashley Marchbanks (Justin), Candace Shannon, Chelsea Smith (Jameson), William Hodgin, Kristie Wells, and Brad Wells; and four great grandchildren, Troy Flanagan, Jeter Flanagan, Ella Smith, and Lilly Smith.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM, Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Union Hill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 4-8 PM, Thursday, 10 AM – 8 PM, Friday, 10 AM – 8 PM, and Saturday 10 AM – 1 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington.
