Jerry Little Henson, 76, Colbert Heights, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. Visitation will be Sunday, March 12, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Seth Hood officiating. Interment will be in Isbell Chapel Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Jerry was a member of First Baptist Church of Colbert Heights and a veteran of the US Army. He was a carpenter, by trade. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Burton and Ollie Henson; and brothers, Howard and Bobby Henson.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Carol Henson; sons, Ricky Henson and Clint Henson (Dneise); sister, Patsy Malone; grandchildren, Chloe Henson (his pride and joy) and Zachery Wagner; and several nieces, nephews and close friends.
Pallbearers will be Matt Stewart, Ben Stewart, Zac Henson, Zeb Henson, Tommy Honey, and Alan Wood. Dusty Daniel, Bill Henson, Jimmy Malone, Edward Riner, and Crochen Seal will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
