Jerry (Jaybird) Finley of Savannah, TN was born November 23, 1941 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Joel Gilbert and Mary Ann Martin Finley. Mr. Finley departed this life on June 25, 2015 in Adamsville, TN at the age of 73 Years, 7 Months, 2 Days.
Jerry was united in marriage to Lena Beaver Finley who preceded him in death.
He was a retired Truck Driver for A & G Trucking Company in Crump, TN. He was presently escorting mobile homes for J & J Escorts in Savannah. He loved dancing, gardening, playing with his great-grandkids, and spending time with his family, kids, and friends.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandi Vaughn of Adamsville, TN; two sons, Jimmy Finley and wife Kim of Savannah, TN, Jerry Wayne Finley and wife Joyce of Savannah, TN; seven grandchildren, Tommy Vaughn, Christopher Vaughn, Cody Hayes, Rebecca Finley, Kendall Vaughn, Savannah Finley, Devin Finley; four great grandchildren, Kylie Vaughn, Alexis Vaughn, Elizabeth Aruaza, Elliot Vaughn; three brothers, Edwin Finley of Adamsville, TN, Larry Finley and wife Willodean of Adamsville, TN, Mike Finley and wife Jackie of Selmer, TN and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a son, David Howell Finley; four sisters, Imogene, Faye, Arlene, Ruby; four brothers, J. C., James, Eugene, and Darryl.
