Jerry Hugh Rogers, age 84, of Hazel Green, Alabama passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022. Jerry was born March 6, 1938 in Gurley, Al to the late Timothy and Maymie Rogers. Jerry was retired from the United States Air Force as a MSGT, serving his country with 26 years of service. He also retired from the US Postal Service with 20 years of service. On Sept 13, 1958 while stationed in Arizona, he married Elanor Sanders. Jerry is preceded in death by 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Jerry leaves behind his children Kim Grayson and her husband James, Jerry Dean Rogers and his wife Bobbie and David Hugh Rogers and his husband Angel. Granddaughters Tara Grayson McAdam and her husband Jeremy and Kelsey Grayson Hamrick and her husband Kolby. Great Grandchildren Josiah McAdam, Grayson McAdam, Logann Hamrick and Isaac McAdam. Sister Mary Virginia Goodspead.
Visitation for Jerry will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. The Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, July 1, 2022 at 6:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Graveside Service with Military Honors will be Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Valhalla Memory Gardens, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811.
