Jerry Glenn Pope – Obituary

Jerry Glenn Pope of Waynesboro, TN was born February 23, 1945 in Wayne Co., TN, the son of the late Earnie Brown and Gladys May Inman Pope. Mr. Pope was a construction worker and of the Protestant faith.

Mr. Pope departed this life on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 5 Months, 2 Days.

He is survived by two daughters, Sherry Crowe of Savannah, TN and Candy Pope of Waynesboro, TN; two grandchildren, Caleb and Summer Crowe; brothers, James Franklin Pope, A. B. Pope, and William Pope of Waynesboro, TN; a sister, Mable Ingram of Columbia, TN; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Pope was preceded in death by and grandchild, Jaydee Swinea; a brother, M. T. Pope.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Buchanan Cemetery in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Larry Janes officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, assisting the family.
