Jerry Edward Horner

Graveside services, with the appropriate social distancing protocols and face masks as recommended by the CDC and the State of Tennessee, for Mr. Jerry Edward Horner, age 83, will be held at 11 AM on Monday, August 10, 2020 in the Zion Methodist Church Cemetery in Brazil. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 PM until 8 PM in the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Horner, a retired Master Sargent in the U.S. Army and member of the Christian Chapel Church of Christ, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 in the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Watt and Fredia Lee Surrat Horner; and a sister Carolyn Ozment.
Mr. Horner is survived by his wife, Sarah Horner of Trenton; a daughter, Lynn and husband John Mark Temple of Trenton; a son, Stacey Horner and Theresa Jenkins of Trenton; five grandchildren, Holly Conway, Drew and wife Cassidy Temple, Jonah and wife Camille Horner, Noah Eli Horner and McKinley Horner; and two great grandchildren, Jack Conway and Annie-Lynn Temple.
