Jerry Bob Ellis, age 51, of Russellville, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Russellville Hospital.
Jerry was always very resilient, self-motivated, and independent. He was self-employed in construction for many years and loved being able to build anything with his hands. He was always very interested in music and loved playing the guitar. Other than music he also really enjoyed technology and building computers. He spent the last few years living in Florida but decided to make the move back to Russellville to be closer to family around a year ago.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ellis, and his stepfather, Billy Shewbart.
He is survived by his mother, Sue Shewbart, children, Keelon Ellis and Victoria Ellis; brothers, Tim Ellis, Mike Ellis (Deonna), Joel Shewbart, and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
The visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon, Wednesday, November 02, 2022, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 12:00 noon in the chapel with Bro. Tadd Corder officiating the service. Burial will be at Tharptown Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
Jerry was always the person in the room to keep you laughing and his own laugh will be greatly missed by his family, friends and anyone who knew him.
