Jerry Alan George, 54, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024, from Leukemia at UAB in Birmingham, AL. Alan enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren. He worked hard doing what he enjoyed, moving mobile homes. He was a devoted husband of 20 years to Michelle, was loved and will be missed by many.
Alan is survived by his wife, Michelle George; his children, Hana George, Devin George (Melissa), Victoria Stacks (Michael), Taylor Staser (Bray), and Austin George; his siblings, Michelle Hughes (Brock), Melissa Lindsey, Micah George, and Billy Ray George; his mother, Carol George (Billy); and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Jerry Miller; and his grandparents, Roy Miller (Joe) and Gilda Lois Lloyd.
Services will be Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 3PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Billy George and Jason Davis officiating. Visitation will begin at 1PM and continue to service time. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Austin George, Bray Staser, Micah George, Jacob Clark, Devin George, and John-Kyle George.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Calvin Powell, Ryder George, and Steven Dale.
