Jerome West, 67, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, August 18, 2012, at his residence. He was retired from TVA, and was the adult softball director in Corinth with Parks and Recreation. He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman. Visitation is scheduled for 4 until 8 PM on Sunday, August 19 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Monday, August 20, 2012, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Shandy Dill. Roger Byrd will give a eulogy. Interment will follow in Moore’s Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers include Roger Byrd, Roger Stegall, Gary Harlon, Todd Witt, Jerry Smith, and Steve Jones. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Lynn McBride West of Iuka; 2 sons – Brad Holt of Cordova, TN and Jerry West (Janet) of South Carolina; 2 brothers – Don West of Lawrenceburg, TN and Johnny West (Patti) of Etherege, TN; 1 sister – Nita Pinkley (Dan) of Lawrenceburg, TN; and 3 grandchildren.
