Jerome P. “Jerry” Newmark, age 98, of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at his residence.
Graveside services will be Monday, May 14, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery. Rabbi Doug Kohn and Cantor Jessica Rosken will officiate.
Mr. Newmark was preceded in death by his Father-Isadore Newmark; Mother-Sonia Kadis Newmark; Sister-Pauline Newmark; Brother-in-law-Leo Frankle.
He is survived by his Daughter-Mildred “Ginger” Deason (Ted); Niece-Martha Herzberg (Gil) and Linda Gwin (John); Nephew-Lee Frankel (Hardie); Sister-in-law-Teeny Frankle.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Lakeside Hospice, PO Box 544, Pell City, AL or Walker Area Community Foundation.
