Jerleen Fuller Stephenson, age 89, was reunited with her beloved Jasper Stephenson on March 12, 2017. She passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord and Savior filled with the love she so selflessly poured into others.
Born and raised in Arley, AL where she was a devout member of Arley First Baptist Church. A pillar in the community, her hospitality and service to others will carry her legacy for many years to come.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Larry McGuff will officiate.
Preceded in death by her beloved helpmate Jasper Stephenson; Father and Mother-James Willie and Elsie Mae Fuller; Sister and Brother-in-law-Avis and Delmar Baird; Brother-Arlen Fuller.
Survived by Daughter-Miriam Stephenson Tidwell of Jasper; Son-Joseph Rex Stephenson (Gail) of MO; Granddaughters-Kim Williams (Doug) of Jasper, Sonya Adams (Chuck) of TN; Grandsons-James O’Quinn of Huntsville, Joseph Rex Stephenson, Jr. of Sumiton, Les Mitchell (Karen) of Arley, Jasper Chase Stephenson (Gabi) of VA, Kyle Stephenson of Florence; Great Granddaughters-Brannigan Williams, Shyanne Stewart, Alexis Stewart, Madison O’Quinn, Jaycee O’Quinn, Ashlyn Mitchell, Elizabeth Mitchell and Emma Stephenson; Great Grandsons-Brad Aaron (Falone), Dawson Rivers, Daiton Rivers (Paechence), Austin Mitchell, Caleb Mitchell, Zeke Stephenson and Jeb Stephenson; 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brad Aaron, Dawson Rivers, Daiton Rivers, Ethan Basenberg, Austin Diffy, Matt Gober. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chase Stephenson, Kyle Stephenson, Kyle Seymore, Farrel Seymore, Cameron Henderson.
