Funeral service for Jerida Bennefield, 78, will be Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Sanctuary Community Church with Bro. Shane Britt and Bro. Jim Hampton officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sanctuary Community Church.
Mrs. Bennefield died on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at her residence. She was born February 3, 1946, in Marshall County, to Garland Jackson Bennefield and Ruth Mae Parker Bennefield.
Jerida liked to fish, do hair and loved to play cards. She enjoyed cooking and loved teaching her great grandbabies to cook, dance, especially “The Twist”, where she won numerous contests. She was of the United Pentecostal Holiness Faith. Most of all, she loved to worship the Lord. She was employed as a beautician, prior to her retirement.
