Jeremy Tate Smith, age 51, of Winchester, Tennessee, passed away on December 8, 2024, at his residence. Jeremy was born on February 17, 1973, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Don Smith and to the late Peggy (Ray) Minshall. He was a 1993 graduate of Grundy County High School. Jeremy was known for his infectious enthusiasm and vast knowledge of cars. He was passionate about Alabama Football, and wrestling. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking, trying the new food he would prepare, feeding the stray animals, and watching Superman, Batman, and Spiderman. Jeremy was straightforward, and his advice always served as a beacon of truth, challenging those around him to confront their realities and grow from them. Those who knew him will remember him for his raw and unfiltered moments of joy, laughter, and the profound lessons he imparted. His spirit will inspire others to embrace honesty and live with integrity. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Nina and Melvin Smith Sr., and Lloyd and Audrey Ray; mother, Peggy (Donald) Minshall; sister, Angel Marie Smith. He is survived by his father, Don Smith; siblings, Christopher Smith, Christina Smith, and Adam Smith; nephews, Abel Caldwell and Jackson Smith; nieces, Amber Caldwell; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
