Jeremy “Buck” Benson, 44, of Florence, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025. He worked at Nucor and was a member of Labor Local Union #366, Sheffield, AL.
Visitation will be Friday, March 28, 2025, from 1-3 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be Matt Buerhaus.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Freida Benson; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
He is survived by his son, Landyn Benson; brother, Charles Benson, Jr. (Sebrina); sisters, Alina McBrayer (Lloyd) and Shawna Dickerson (Chris); nieces and nephews, Mac Seamons (Kayla), Chassity Staggs (Michael), Raylee Dickerson, and Reagan Dickerson; special friend, Rusty DePoyster, and cousin, Jason Jackson, and numerous friends.
Jeremy was an avid Alabama fan, very outgoing, and loved to make people laugh. Jeremy loved the outdoors and the beach. He will be dearly missed.
