Jeremie Dewayne Watkins, age 40, a resident of Williamsport, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at his residence.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Bobby Cates officiating. Burial will follow in Williamsport Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on July 21, 1978 in Columbia, Jeremie was the son of Evan Watkins and Pamela Brewer Watkins. He was a 1996 graduate of Columbia Central High School. Jeremie enjoyed fixing up and collecting old cars. He also loved listening to music, watching wrestling, and spending time with his dog, R.J.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers: Timothy (Alexia) Watkins of Columbia, Michael (Cameo) Watkins of Columbia; half sister: Kinsley Watkins of Columbia; very special caregiver: Carolyn Busby of Williamsport; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Blake Watkins, James Busby, William Powell, Brandon Newcomb, Chad Busby, Bubba Watkins, Billy Logan, and Tony Busby.
