Jeremiah Thomas Swinea (Jerry), 75, of Florence, Ala., veteran and government advisor, died Monday, March 17, 2014, in his home.
He was preceeded in death by his wife, Dorothy Faye Swinea (died 1997) and is survived by a son, Matthew Swinea; daughter, Heather Witherspoon; granddaughter, Ashlyn Swinea; and grandson, Lucas Witherspoon.
The memorial service will be Saturday, March 22, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the North Carolina Church of Christ Cemetery.
