Funeral service for Jeremiah “Levi” Smith, 33, will be Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Francis Proctor officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery, South of Danville. Visitation will be Friday, October 24, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith died on Monday, October 20, 2014 at his residence. He was born February 8, 1981, in Morgan County to Monty Robert Smith and Connie Faye Gibson Hood. Levi was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a veteran of the Afghanistan War. He was self employed with S and K Tree Service. Levi was a very loving, kind, goodhearted and funny husband, daddy, son, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed by many. He was preceded in death by his step-father: Mike Hood, grandmom: Joyce Brookeshire and two grandfathers: Harlen Gibson and Bob Smith.
In lieu of flowers family requests that memorial donations be made to a Trust Fund set up for his son at : Redstone Federal Credit Union – Jeremiah L. Smith, Jr. Donation Fund.
