Jenny Melinda Chapman Youngblood, age 68, of Killen, passed away after a very hard-fought battle with cancer on Friday, June 21, 2024. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 30th at 2:00 pm at First Methodist Church of Lexington.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roscoe Chapman; mother, Ruth Smith; brother, Jon Smith; husband, Dewayne Youngblood; granddaughter-in-law, Courtney Conley.
Survivors are her daughters, Melinda Sparks (Brady) and Devon McPhearson (Steven); grandsons, Dylan Sparks, Brayden Sparks (Allie), Noah McPhearson; great-granddaughter, Whitley Wren Sparks; sister, Suzy Isbell (Anthony); her aunt Kitty and cousins, Joyce and Jo Anne.
She was a longtime member of Lexington Methodist Church. She loved her daughters, but most of all her grandsons and was so proud to watch Dylan become a father to her only granddaughters and always ready to go watch Brayden play college football and loved spending time with her best buddy Hoah. Jenny was so proud to become Grammy Great to Whitley. The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice with extra special thanks to Lily Flowers and Danielle. You were such a blessing to mom and us.
