Jenny Freeman, 67, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday. Jenny danced through life with joy and love for others and above all, her Lord, Jesus Christ. Professionally trained in dance at Mississippi College for Women, “the W”, she performed throughout the United States, a highlight of which was her portrayal of Peter Pan. Her husband’s career brought her to Huntsville in 2000. She achieved her own success first as a Master Instructor in Pilates and later as the owner of Destination Colour, which combined her passion for fabrics, unique color combinations and timeless designs.
Survivors include husband, Robert J. Freeman; daughter, Rebecca Hendricks (Douglas) of El Paso, TX; son, Jon Paul Freeman of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Kyra Hendricks, Adelle Hendricks, and Jackman Hendricks; and mother, Ella Mae Downes of Picayune, MS.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Covenant Presbyterian Church. The memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Kling officiating.
