Jennifer Louise Al-Dijaili, 48, of Madison, Alabama, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 14, 2024. Jennifer was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose life radiated love, generosity, and faith.
Born on July 25, 1976, Jennifer grew up cherishing her family and developing a deep love for nature and learning. She dedicated her life to serving others, most recently as a beloved school nurse at Rainbow Elementary School in Madison. Her care and kindness touched countless students, families, and colleagues.
Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Arkan “DJ” Al-Dijaili; her children, Sidney Long (Cory), Austin Al-Dijaili, Sara Al-Dijaili, Ryan Al-Dijaili, and Hannah Al-Dijaili; her mother, Michelle O’Saben (Gene); stepmother, Jean Snyder; and her siblings, Chris Bates, Gayle Cassara (Robert), Jeff Bates, Jamie Anderson (Rusty), Jacob Snyder, and Mindy Snyder. She is also survived by a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her heavenly baby, Jordan Al-Dijaili; her father, Martin Snyder; her stepfather, William Bates; and her grandmother, Louise Campbell, all of whom now welcome her into eternal peace.
Jennifer found joy in the simple pleasures of life—spending time outdoors, reading, and finding the perfect gifts for those she loved. She was her children’s biggest cheerleader, celebrating their achievements on and off the field with unwavering pride and devotion. A dedicated Ohio State Buckeyes fan, Jennifer’s passion for the team was only surpassed by her steadfast faith in Jesus Christ, who was the cornerstone of her life.

Jennifer’s legacy of love and faith will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but always loved and cherished.
A visitation for Jennifer will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 12:00 to 2:00 pm with the funeral immediately following in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Dr. Kevin Moore officiating. A private graveside service for the family will follow.
