Ms. Green, who died Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Lawrence Medical Center, was born July 9, 1954, in Alabama to Hollis Green and Amelia Moore Green Fronrath. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Russell Fronrath; sister, Susan Williams; and great-grandchild, Livie Diane Engle.
Jenny Lee is remembered as a dedicated worker at Delphi whose fun-loving spirit went full bloom in her retirement when she was able to give herself fully to her other passions, but most especially to her family and her girlfriends, whom she loved like sisters. She loved her children with all her heart and valued being a mamaw above all things. She showed incredible generosity of her time and love toward her grandchildren and always looked forward to Christmas when she enjoyed gifting Radko ornaments – a tradition passed down from her own beloved mother, Amelia. Always supportive of her children, she delighted in going to her daughter LeeAnn’s beauty shop to have her hair done. Another very special family member whom she leaves behind is her dog, John Willie III, who was her everything.
Among her passions was certainly music, having been a piano player in her younger years and loving to sing. She also liked to watch TV, never missing an Alabama football game.
Jenny Lee was a woman of faith who attended Courtland Baptist Church, and she blessed everyone she met with her infectious joy and kindness.
She is survived by her son, Trent Terry (Jessica); daughter, Lee Ann Engle (Danny); stepmother, Alice Green; brother-in-law, Larry Williams; three grandchildren, Preston Engle (Tonya), Austin Engle (Jessie), and Tristan Terry; three great-grandchildren; and her dearest and best friend, Linda Sparks.
Pallbearers will be Preston Engle, Austin Engle, Scott Williams, Ritchie Williams, Justin Shelton, and Tim Demastus.
