Funeral service for Jennifer Hardin Prater, 40, will be Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Hardin officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Cook Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Prater was born January 2, 1984, in Morgan County, to Jimmy Lee Hardin and Joy Lynn Watson Hardin.
Jennifer Lizabeth Prater affectionally known by Jen, passed away March 10, 2024 at Cullman Regional Hospital. Jen’s life was one of service and love. Jen was a beloved mother, wife, nurse, sister, and friend. Her career as a nurse spanned over 20 years at Decatur Health and Rehab where she touched countless lives with her compassion and dedication. She married her husband, Steven, in May 2014 where they built a life together raising 3 beautiful children-Jacob, Noah, and Gavin. She loved to read, do puzzles, watch tv, attend to her flowers, and do crafts.
Jennifer’s memory will be honored and kept alive by her children, husband, siblings, friends, and her extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
